On the 4 September Whaea Monika, Whaea Kerry and Whaea Tara visited from Waitangi. We stayed in our normal SST class all day. But instead of what we normally do we made a Marae where we put Poupou and our Pepeha in. We first did our Poupou and Pepeha. For our Poupou we used SculptGL and for our Pepeha we used Paint3D. Some of us stood in front of the green screen and had our photo taken by Poppy. At the end of the day some people made the deck, trees, the back bone and the entrance. We all drew something that identified us then Reyhan put it on the Poutokemanawa. Ben said thank you, to Monika, Kerry and Tara for coming. I really enjoyed it and everyone had a great time.
Hi Faith,
ReplyDeleteits Reitu. I like your post about what we did last week. I like how you have put photos and pictures on your post.
Good work!
Kind regards,
Reitu
Kia ora Faith, my name is Nikara and I’m a year 6 student at Paihia School. I enjoyed reading your pepeha because it is interesting seeing where other people come from around the world. Earlier on in the year the year 6’s from our class went to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds and met Whaea Monika and Whaea Kerry as well. Maybe next time could you explain what you could do better. Did you enjoy doing this project? Can’t wait to see more of your work.
ReplyDeleteHi,this was very nice.
DeleteThank you for commenting on my blog is was helpful. Also how did you come across my blog.
Kia Ora Faith, thanks for sharing your experiences of the day that Whaea Monika, Kerry and I had with your 9M class. It was pretty neat seeing your completed pepeha and pou and how these came together in the virutal whare. You have written a great description of the day and I can remember those photos being taken at the end of the day and then being imported into TiltBrush. Ngā mihi, Tara
