My Class Marae

On the 4 September Whaea Monika, Whaea Kerry and Whaea Tara visited from Waitangi. We stayed in our normal SST class all day. But instead  of what we normally do we made a Marae where we put Poupou and our Pepeha in. We first did our Poupou and Pepeha. For our Poupou we used SculptGL and for our Pepeha we used Paint3D. Some of us stood in front of the green screen and had our photo taken by Poppy. At the end of the day some people made the deck, trees, the back bone and the entrance.  We all drew something that identified us then Reyhan put it on the Poutokemanawa. Ben said thank you, to Monika, Kerry and Tara for coming. I really enjoyed it and everyone had a great time.

The half of the class went and did an invigilate story of then self. The other half went with someone or a group (that is what I did this, with iri), we had to make it on the school. In it we did the school pepeha, the teachers, sport in the school and what subject we do. We also went and saw the kapa haka performance, plus we went to the waka and talked about it.

Migrate to New Zealand

Do you ever wonder why people would want to migrate to New Zealand? I think it's because how peaceful it is here and it so far away from everything. Plas there are no wars here.
There was something Honorable that happen at Christchurch, New Zealand. Christchurch terrorist attack, kill 51 Muslim.  this made New Zealanders sad that something had happened in our country. One day our school desired to wear a white t-shirt.

Pink Shirt Day

On Friday the 17th of May, it was pink shirt day. Every one was allowed to wear a pink shirt at my school, to raise awareness about bulling. We also played games at lunch time and you could win some free food.

Pink shirt day started when this girl asked her friends to weer a pink shirt the next day so they could share awareness for bullying.
